Kangming Biotech expands plant-extract capacity with a new partner line
Kangming Biotech has commissioned a new extraction and purification line at a partner extraction facility, adding 1,200 m² of GMP-aligned production space dedicated to olive leaf and olive fruit derived polyphenols.
The line combines continuous counter-current extraction with a two-stage chromatographic purification step, allowing the company to offer oleuropein at 40% and 70% HPLC grades and hydroxytyrosol at up to 98% purity from a single, traceable raw-material stream.
Capacity for plant extracts now stands at 3,000 tonnes per year. Quality control has been extended with an additional HPLC-MS system and an in-house reference-standard programme, so that every batch ships with a full CoA, heavy-metal panel and pesticide residue screen.
The expansion responds to sustained demand from European and North American customers in the nutraceutical and personal-care segments. Sampling is available immediately from stock, with commercial volumes from November 2026.
